Reflections of a Lost Poet, written by Miriam Hoffman and performed by Avi Hoffman, is a one-man play about the life of Itzik Manger, who was born in 1901 in Czernowitz, Romania and is considered one of the greatest and most prolific of Yiddish poets. This serio/comic monologue follows the life and times of Itzik Manger, considered one of the greatest Yiddish poets. Through his songs and poems we discover the joy and anguish of a lost Yiddish poet, who lived through the best and worst of times.
